For businesses that print QR codes on things they can't reprint

QR codes that keep working, even if you stop paying

Put editable QR codes on manuals, packaging, flyers and signs without handing someone a switch to turn them off. Use your own domain, export every redirect whenever you like, and if you stop paying your codes keep pointing where you last set them. Only editing locks.

The problem

A printed code shouldn't be a subscription you can't cancel

  1. Some "free" QR generators switch your codes off after a short trial unless you start paying monthly.

  2. The printed code points at their domain, not yours, so your only choices are to pay or reprint.

  3. Link services shut down or change their pricing, and codes already printed end up pointing nowhere.

How it works

  1. Create your codes

One at a time or from a spreadsheet. Download plain, print-ready SVG or PNG files.

  2. Print them on your own domain

Codes can use a short address on a domain you own, like go.yourshop.com, so they never look like spam.

  3. Change where they point anytime

Move a code to a new page after it's printed, and see how many times each one is scanned.

What you get

Codes keep working if you stop

Cancel or let a plan lapse and every code keeps redirecting to its last destination. You only lose editing and new scan counts.

Your own domain on the everyday plan

Point a subdomain you own at SteadyQR. If you ever leave, point it somewhere else and your printed codes come with you.

Export every redirect

Download a spreadsheet of every code and where it points, any time, with no request needed.

Prices on the page, no trial trap

No free trial that switches codes off later. You see the price before you make anything.

Plain codes, ready to print

Standard black-and-white codes as SVG or PNG, plus bulk creation from a spreadsheet.

Screened for scams

Destinations are checked against known phishing and malware lists, and codes that point to them are switched off.

Questions

Is SteadyQR available now?

Not yet. We're building it now. Join early access and we'll email you when it's ready, with your founding price locked in.

Will I be charged if I join?

No. Joining early access is free and doesn't commit you to anything.

What happens to my codes if I stop paying?

They keep redirecting to the last destination you set. You can't change destinations or see new scan counts until you subscribe again. Pay once codes have nothing to renew.

What if SteadyQR shuts down?

Codes on your own domain don't depend on us. Point the domain at your website or any other redirect service, use your export, and they keep working. Codes on our short domain do depend on our service running. If we ever decide to close, we'll email you an export of every code and destination before we switch anything off.

Can you fix a code another service switched off?

Usually not. A printed code points at the old service's domain, and only they control where it goes. We can help you make a replacement that nobody can hold back from you.

Do I need a dynamic code at all?

Not always. If the destination will never change and you don't need scan counts, a free static code from almost any generator is enough, and it doesn't depend on anyone.
